About Itty & Bitty: A mini-Bio
We’re miniature horses (not ponies!) who live in Argyle, Texas, a small town outside Dallas. 
On our birth certificates (called "papers" in horse lingo), my real name is "Knutson Corkus Abbendigo", and Itty’s is "Rocking M 3TS City Lights". Yikes! When our owner, Johnnie, found us at the July 4th Firecracker Super Sale in Irving Texas, she decided to call us Itty and Bitty, to match our size. Itty is a tiny bit bigger than I am, but I don’t mind. I can run faster!
Actually, I’m a bit of a "corker." Some say I’m messy, but I’d say I’m easy going. Itty was a show horse for a few years, and he is sort of a "City Lights" fellow–fancy and fussy. Not me!
We live on a farm with lots of other horses, who are mostly Pintos and Thoroughbreds, and who are all bigger than we are. Of course that’s not hard, since miniatures can only be 34 inches tall! Some of our friends are Scrabble, Bucky, Troy, and Whatnot. There are also two dogs in our farm family named Molly and Sasha. Sasha pulls my tail and chases me around, but it’s all in good fun.
Since our first book came out last year, many of you asked to read more about us, so we convinced Nancy to write about our life at Steele Away Farm. For our second book, 
Itty & Bitty: Friends on the Farm, Nancy teamed up with a New York illustrator named Rose Mary Berlin. We think you’ll enjoy seeing us in action as we get into some mini-mischief on our home turf!
